City of Garland Litter Cleanup Program

Help keep Garland clean by joining our Litter Cleanup Program! We offer two types of cleanup opportunities:

1. Self-Directed Cleanups – Organize your own cleanup! We’ll provide the supplies, assign a location, and offer safety training to ensure a successful event.

2. Guided Cleanups – Join a scheduled cleanup! The Volunteer Office hosts monthly cleanups and two citywide cleanups each year. Simply register, show up on the day of the event, and make a difference!

The NCTCOG Community Cleanup Challenge

In an attempt to address the continuous flow of litter in the waterways of the City of Garland, we are participating in the Community Cleanup Challenge. We are encouraging folks to go on daily walks and collect litter then log their efforts on this site.

Program Requirements
