Teen volunteers can help with the LEGO® Lab program for families! We are looking for attentive and engaging volunteers to help with the following responsibilities:
- Setting up tables and supplies before the program
- Monitoring the room to make sure LEGO supplies are being properly used
- Putting away supplies and breaking down the tables after the program ends
➡️This volunteer opportunity is for ages 12-17 only.
➡️Volunteers must sign in at the Children's Desk and wear a volunteer lanyard.
➡️PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept volunteers that are fulfilling court-mandated service hours.
➡️If you cannot attend your volunteer shift, please cancel it online or call us at 972-205-2501 at least an hour in advance to let us know. If you have three no-call no-show occurrences with the Garland Libraries, we will cancel your future shifts and you will no longer be permitted to volunteer at any of the library branches.
