Come help us with our first family portrait event at the Central Library! Families will have the opportunity to sign up for a time slot to come take a simple family photo at the library.
We will need a volunteer to greet the families coming in for their time slot, check them in on our paper list and send them in when ready. The volunteer will also maintain a paper wait list for walk-ins who did not sign up for a time slot. The majority of time will be spent seated at a table by our program room.
This volunteer opportunity is for ages 12-18 only. Volunteers will sign in/out for their shift downstairs at the Children's Desk.
➡️PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept volunteers that are fulfilling court-mandated service hours. Note: If you cannot attend your volunteer shift, please cancel it online or call Central Library at 972-205-2501 to let us know so we can cancel the shift.
